CHA Sonumer Show Day 2

It's early Sunday morning right now and I will be heading to the retailer show here soon but I wanted to post a couple more pictures from the consumer show for you guys to see. First, there are some new gypsy skins that are going to be coming out. Also, there are tons of new cuttlebug folders that are being released. So if any of you cricut fans also have a cuttlebug you are going to be set. They are coming out with new 12 inch border strip dies along with dies that emboss and cut at the same time. If I am able to I will try and get some pictures of those today. I am also hoping that more new cartridges will be announced today at the retailer show. I did get a sneek peak the other day of a new robot boy cartridge that was super cute along with a Halloween Cartridge. But I will know more on those here later .

Also, for anyone that maybe follows the cricut messageboard online I got to meet Robyn from My Pink Stamper. If you guys don't know about her and want to check her out she has a blog at www.mypinkstamper.com. She actually came out with a video that has projects all dedicated to the cricut that we are now carrying in store and her second video will be available soon.

Cricut Cake

Well, I am getting ready to head to day two of the consumer show and I had one more thing I wanted to post for you guys. The big news from Provo Craft is that they are coming out with a cake cricut. What that means is that it will cut gum paste in to the shapes that you want that you can then put on your cakes. This machine will come with one cartridge that is meant specifically for cakes but you will be able to use any of the cartridges that you own as well. This machine however can not cut paper as well. It is only meant to be used on the cake materials. The big differences about this machine compared to your regular cricut is that the housing/blade unit is different and that they also did a plastic coating to go over the top so nothing gets on your layover as well as around the cartrige. The only other major difference that I can think of is that the mat is of course not sticky. You have to use a cooking product to help with that. I would love to hear what everyone thinks about this machine. I have to tell you when you see it in action in makes you think that you could start creating your own cakes all the time!

CHA Consumer Show

Hey Everyone~ Today was a very exciting day at the consumer show. I got a first glimpse of a new cricut cartridge coming out and it is adorable! It is called Once Upon a Princess and you guys are going to love it!

Also, I came across a very interesting sign at the Provo Craft Booth that I just have to share with all of you. That's right everyone it says 100+ cartridges in 2010. It is going to be an exciting year for all of you Cricut user. I promise to post more soon!
